We can assist you in answering the question of “Who am I?” and taking the first steps on your journey to discovering your Slovenian roots through DNA testing.

Tracing your ancestry through documents available in archives can lead you to the original families who lived centuries ago. However, a simple DNA test can unlock the secret of your origins from thousands of years ago.

If you’ve already taken an autosomal DNA (atDNA) test and want to join the Slovenian Origin Project, simply open your profile here and import your raw data. Next, when you are loged in, navigate to the project’s website in a new window, and click the “Join” button. Welcome to the Slovenian Origin Project!
